Youth and families of the communities of the Crow Creek Sioux Tribe worked in conjunction with Diamond Willow Ministries and Native American organization, First American Design Studios www.firstamericandesignstudio.com to complete the design and engineering of the Tokata Youth Center, envisioning a facility that is transforming our community.  Scull Construction Service, Inc. out of Rapid City, SD was utilized as the Construction Management firm www.scullconstruction.com.

Building Design

The 7,500 square-foot TYC building is designed to be modest, functional and durable.  Pre-cast concrete walls, structural steel and low-maintenance materials and equipment ensure a long-lasting facility.  The floor plan features a reception area, lobby, classroom, game room, cafeteria/multi-purpose room, commercial kitchen, storage room, bathrooms, and two office spaces.
