The debt—principal and interest—on the Tokata Youth Center construction loan has been paid in full. Every last dollar!
Deep gratitude is extended to all who helped make this dream for the youth of the Crow Creek Sioux Tribe a reality. Through generous hearts, sacrifice, and prayer, the Tokata Initiative Capital Campaign has reached completion. “WOPIDA TANKA” – THANK YOU!
WHAT THIS MEANS FOR THE FUTURE
As this new year begins, this investment in the youth ensures the TYC can carry forward its vital work:
- Loving, mentoring, tutoring, encouraging, and feeding—both physically and spiritually—hundreds of tribal youth.
- Providing the community with a unique meeting space where the evidence of God’s love for the people of the Crow Creek Sioux Tribe is visible to all.
- Supporting our dedicated and talented staff by increasing their wages to match area standards. For years, a wage freeze was necessary to prioritize debt elimination. Now, it is possible to reward their unwavering commitment to the youth.
This investment continues to create immediate and eternal impacts. Life transformation is happening every day at the TYC thanks to the efforts and generosity of so many.
“Paid in full” is such a powerful and joyful phrase. May 2025 be filled with joy, peace, and continued opportunities to make a difference.
With a grateful heart,
