Future Impact on the Community
“Tokata” means future in the original Dakota language. The TYC has become a family and a place of security for the youth in our community. Several community members have shared how important this space will be for the future generations and what it means to them. Many of them are encouraged by having a space that allows the youth to dream and plan for their future.

Renewing Hope, Strengthening Our Future
The Tokata Youth Center will meet critical family needs, particularly for the youth ages K-12. It will allow the programming of the Tokata Youth Center to blossom, expanding greatly in scope and number of youth reached daily.
